Trinity is an Undergraduate Research assistant. She is currently a senior finishing up a BS in Microbiology with interests directly in mycology, drug development, and disease pathogenesis. She started in Dr. Beattie’s lab in May 2024 and primarily works on characterizing inositol metabolism in A. fumigatus. She was born and raised in Colorado but chose to go to The University of Iowa due to having family in Iowa City.
